Region Band & Chorus are audition-based ensembles offered to students located in a specific part of New Jersey. Since Central Middle School is located in Morris County, we are classified as "Region I" (out of III).
Motivated students who would like to push themselves and potentially perform with some of their elite peers should consider auditioning. The earlier you start to prepare, the more likely you are to be accepted into this elite ensemble.

Band Students:
There are 3 parts to the audition--scales, a prepared solo, and sight-reading. The solo link can be found here, and the scale requirements can be found here.
Choral Students:
There are 2 parts to the audition--a scale (sung on "ah" after being given the starting pitch) and a memorized solo. While the solo has not been released yet, the other information can be found here.
All auditions are Saturday, February 7th at Clifton High School.
The snow date is Sunday, February 8th.
