  • S.P.O.R.T. is selling ShopRite gift cards in the Main Office at Central School during school hours

    S.P.O.R.T. is selling ShopRite gift cards as a way to raise money to support the athletic programs and subsidize pay-to-play fees at Central Middle School.  For every $100 sold, S.P.O.R.T. will receive $5.  Gift cards can be purchased in the Main Office at Central during school hours.  This is a perfect way to support our athletes without any additional cost to you!  Thanks so much for your generosity!

    PARENTS/GUARDIANS - GET CONNECTED!  The Long Hill Township School District has three separate systems that parents need to be connected with. (Honeywell Instant Alert, Genesis Parent Portal and the school website www.longhill.org).  If you have not already established an account in all three systems, please do so as soon as possible.   • How Food Days Work for School Closings, Delayed Opening/Early Dismissal Days and Absences

    School Closing – Food Day rescheduled.
     
    Delayed Opening:
    Central - Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.
    Millington - Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.
    Gillette - Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.
     
    Emergency Early Dismissal:
    Central-  If announced before the start of school, Food Day cancelled and rescheduled.  
    If announced after the start of school, Food Day will go on with normal delivery times.
     
    Millington- Food Day will go on with the following schedule:
    Grade 2 - 11:00-11:30
    Grade 4 - 11:35-12:00
    Grade 3 - 12:05-12:30
    Grade 5 - 12:55-1:20
     
    Gillette – Food Day will go on with normal delivery times
     
    Student Absence
    If a student is absent on a food day and has ordered food, parents are welcome to come and pick it up at the main office. However, they must call and notify the office by 10:30 am, so volunteers can put his/her name on it and leave it in the office for parent to pick up after the child’s normal lunch period.
