About Me:
I am thrilled to say this is my 13th year teaching at Gillette School! I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I was hired to teach kindergarten, and did so for five years. I was then offered a position in first grade, which was very exciting for me! First grade is going to be a wonderful time for you and your child. I look forward to watching your child grow and mature throughout their first grade experience!
Contact Information:
The best way to reach me is via email at enusser @ longhill.org. You may also send me a note in your child's folder or leave a voice message at ext. 1021. Please be sure to call the main office with any urgent messages that may arise.

Homework:
The purpose of homework is to reinforce a skill that has been taught in the classroom, as well as teach my students responsibility. Homework is assigned Monday - Thursday and is due back the next day. On a typical night your child will be assigned one math page. Spelling words and sight words should be practiced daily. The Superkids Reading Program provides a variety of fun online reading activities that reinforce skills being taught in the classroom.
