    Birthday Celebrations
     
    We love to celebrate birthdays in kindergarten.  Please feel free to email me a few days prior to your child's special day to set up a time for us to celebrate.  You are welcome to come in to our room to read a favorite book or do a craft with the class to celebrate.  
     
    We can also celebrate the special day with a treat.  Please make sure to send in an individual treat for each child such as donuts, ice pops, cupcakes, brownies and not something that needs to be cut like a sheet cake.  We will enjoy the treat in the afternoon and we can keep it cold in the school fridge/freezer if we need to.  
     
    If your child has a summer birthday we can celebrate on their half birthday or at the beginning or end of the year.  Each child deserves a special day in our room!
     
    If your child is having a party and would like to send home invitations in our home school folders they can only do so if they are inviting the entire class (or all the boys or all the girls).  Please do not send invitations to school to pass out to only a few students.   I never want to see a child feel left out in our room.
