My experience in public education spans three decades.  Its remarkable how the field of education has changed, but the primary focus remains to be the children!  I consider myself ALWAYS a 'teacher at heart,' with my current role focusing on helping students with learning differences. I enjoy working as an Educational Diagnostician to identify the learning strengths and weaknesses of students. This allows me to work closely with general education and special education teachers, as well as occupational, physical and speech-language therapists to develop individualized programs that will confer educational benefit for those students with specific needs. 

I began my career as a speech therapist in Union Township and transitioned to teaching special education students within small group environment classes.  I also provided academic support through a co-teaching model within the general education classrooms. I am grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in creating strategies and interventions that will assist any student who may be struggling. I am a resident of Long Hill Township.  My husband and I have two, college-age daughters.
